Community Guidelines

Ultreia Teams lets pilgrims walking the Camino de Santiago form groups and share their real-time position with each other on the map. These guidelines explain how Teams works, what data is shared, and the rules every member agrees to follow.

1. What Teams Does

A Team is a private group of up to 20 pilgrims. Each team has an owner who creates the group and shares an invite code. Members who join the group and set their status to "active" share their GPS position with all other active members of that team.

📍 Only the last known position of each member is stored. We do not record or retain location history — each update overwrites the previous one. When you leave a team or go inactive, your position is no longer visible to others.

Audit logs (join/leave/create events) are retained for up to 12 months for safety and abuse-prevention purposes, after which they are automatically deleted.
